Your model stays yours.
Model uploads and the marketplace are a development preview. They are switched on for a limited group of test accounts, are not part of the generally released product, and are still changing. The policy below applies to them in full today.
People bring their own Live2D models to Kyndred, and our marketplace preview lists models that work here — with links out to the artists who sell them. This page is the whole deal, in plain language: what we do with model files, what we never do, and how artists get things taken down.
Kyndred performs models. It never trains on them.
When you upload a model, we store it and animate it for you. That is the entire use. We never train AI on uploaded models, never feed them into any dataset, and never use them to generate art. We store your files solely to provide the service.
Uploaded files stay private to the uploader.
Your model files are visible to your account only. They are never shared with, copied to, or rendered for another user — not even someone who owns the same model. Marketplace listings distribute nothing: buyers purchase from the artist and upload their own copy. When you delete your account, your files are deleted with it.
You warrant your rights.
By uploading a model you warrant that you hold the rights to use it. Read the artist's terms — a model you bought usually comes with a personal-use license, and what that allows is between you and the artist. Every marketplace listing tells buyers the same thing: check the artist's terms before buying.
Rights holders: takedown within 24 hours, no questions asked.
Whoever you are — the artist who drew it, the studio that owns the character, the label or agency acting for them, or the person whose voice was cloned — if something of yours is here and shouldn't be, tell us. No account needed, no forms in triplicate, no arguing. Identified rights-holder claims come down immediately, and everything is resolved within 24 hours.
The fastest route is the Report button on the page showing the content — it attaches the item for you, so you never paste a link. Every public model, voice, character and personality page has one.
Request a takedown
Two channels: an identified claim (you hold the rights, or act for whoever does — removal is immediate, pending a human check, and we restore if a claim turns out bogus) or an anonymous report(a human reviews it the same day; reports never auto-remove, so the button can't be used to grief listings).
An identified claim asks for what the law asks for: who you are and how to reach you, what work of yours is involved, why it shouldn't be here, and the sworn statements a notice needs under US copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 512) and the EU Digital Services Act (Article 16). If you can't complete every field, send it anyway — we will come back to you rather than drop the claim.
